Teaching Environment and Facilities

In addition to offices and equipment rooms, our institute has eight dedicated classrooms, which include:

• Play Therapy Room (ED106)

• Group Counseling Room (ED107)

• Counseling Observation Room (ED108)

We continuously expand our teaching facilities each year to accommodate various courses. Currently, all specialized classrooms are equipped with surveillance and recording equipment, allowing faculty and students to conduct observations in the Counseling Observation Room. Students can fully utilize these dedicated classrooms, equipment, and resources during class hours, and they are also available for student use during non-class hours.

Testing Instruments

To meet the needs of courses such as “Psychological Testing and Assessment” and “Learning Diagnosis and Counseling,” our institute has purchased various tests, card decks, and board games. These are centrally stored in the Learning and Psychological Testing Diagnostic Room (ED105). We will continue to acquire additional relevant tests to meet course requirements. Research Books

In addition to the journals purchased each semester through the library, we actively acquire books, videotapes, CDs, and other non-book materials related to the research interests of our faculty and students. This is to provide the most up-to-date and comprehensive research information and resources. The books, journals, and audiovisual materials acquired by our institute are mainly purchased and archived by the university library. Currently, the library has a collection of Chinese and Western books and journal materials related to educational psychology and counseling. Faculty can request book purchases at any time. In the first semester of the 97th academic year, our institute has newly acquired approximately 125 books and continues to make new acquisitions.

Graduate students can borrow up to 20 books at a time for a period of one month. Additionally, graduate students can apply for the IngentaConnect New Knowledge Delivery Service, which allows them to specify 50 of the latest journals and 25 research topics with keywords. The system will then send the latest journal contents to their personal email addresses.
